I have GT Manager. I have a GT8. I want to turn off the volume peddle feature when the expression switch is on so I can use the expression peddle with distortion gain. Then when I hit the expression switch it restores the volume feature when it turns off the distortion feature. I can see how to do it on the gt8 through the instruction, but I can’t figure out how to do it with the software.

Which board? On the GT-8 it is set like this:
press "System" and switch with the parameter arrows to "SYS:EXP Pdl Func".
Change the value there from "Auto" to "Assignable".
Now you can assign another function to the pedal in the patch.
Assignment:
switch to the patch you want to change.
press the "Variable" button under "Assign
turn the "Value/Patch" wheel to the desired function, in your case this would be No. 15 "Preamp Gain". With the parameter arrows you can set further values for the selected function. After finishing the setting save the changed patch with "Write".
